spottedfire smiled at Snakestripe and the two walked out of camp. "So, um, are we officially mates?" He asked. "I think so." Spottedfire said hesitantly. "I mean, I do like you... a lot." Snakestripe smiled and twined his tail with hers. "I don't know... but I was thinking about kits? I mean I know you really want to be a warrior and stuff but I was thinking that our kits would be so amazing you know?" He rushed on.
Snakestripe smiled and blushes a little. "Your so cute." Spottedfire smiled back. "We should do something fun!" She set off, and Snakestripe followed like a dog followed its Two-leg.
Suddenly, there was a screech and Snakestripe found himself searching through the woods for Spottedfire. He heard her yowling and he scented claws- and something else. 'Twolegs!' Snakestripe thought frantically, and howled, "Spottedfire!!" He howled. "Snakestripe!!" He heard distantly. "Spottedfire!!!" HE howled again, this time pausing to hear the direction of her reply. But there was no reply. He ran blindly in the forest, and saw the monster rumble away.
This is just a little something that I made up. Like, what it would be like if Spottedfire had a phone.
I squealed as the Twolegs shoved me in a cage. Shuddering, I pulled out my phone. "Crap!" I muttered. "Low battery. I can only do one thing. Hmmm..... Call Snakestripe for a rescue or Tweet about my capture? Eh, I'll Tweet." I opened up my Twitter page and posted

I looked upon my wall with pride. Everyone would chat about my capture for minutes to come! Then they'd all move on.
Haha, that wasn't a story post. It was just a comedy post.
- .- Riverheart was sitting, getting attacked by Riverkit and Blossomkit when Snakestripes ran into camp. "Help! I need help! Spottedfire has been captured by Twolegs!"
"No!" Riverheart breathed. "Twolegs??!!" "Twolegs?" Repeated Riverkit, and then he and Blossomkit whimpered. "Report this to Jetstar now, he'll have to send out a searching party!"
Snakestripe nodded and headed for his den. "Stay here," Riverheart told the kits. "I need to find out what is happening." She was really worried for her friend. When she padded away the kits started planning evily! Riverkit stood tall now. They both had really grown. "I will get her back! Come on Blossomkit," he meowed and bounded towards the enterence.
Blossomkit whimpered and held back. "I don't know- I think we should go with Cinderpaw." She said. Riverkit growled angrily. "I'm not taking orders from that bossy fur ball, come on!" He said. Blossomkit followed her brother with hesitation, yet she was eager to go on adventure. As they stepped out in the forest, blazes of scents overwhelmed them. "I can pick up Spottedfire's scent." Riverkit said, sniffing the ground. Blossomkit was impressed.
Jetstar came out of his den with Snakestripe. "Scarheart, Wolfshade, Nightclaw, Cinderpaw, and Petalbreeze go with Snakestripe to try to find Spottedfire." he ordered, waving his tail for them to go.
Cinderpaw ran over to the group of cats by the entrance. "awesome, I get to go on a mission!!" he said excitedly, grinning. 'what the...' he thought when he picked up a slight nursery scent going through the entrance. He shook off the feeling and followed the others out of camp.
Scratch that post it was ment for the Apprentice Den. -.-
Riverheart returned to where he left the kits but they were gone. "Okay you two come out!" she called. She inspected for the two to come bounding out of the nursery wailing 'Mommy I'm hungry!', but no one came. There wasn't even a sound. "Oh no, Wavestar will never forgive me!"
I gently pawed the door of my cage, mewling sweetly like a kittypet. Hopefully the Twolegs would think I was a house cat and let me go. They ignored me, so I set about picking the lock. I dug my claws into the opening and twisted. I stifled a hiss of pain as I tore one of my claws. I would have Starpaw fix it when I got back.... if I got back.
Snakestripe led the partol to were he saw the truck carrying his beloved mate. "It went that way," he pointed his tail down the right side of the Thunderpath. "The monster was red with orange stripes. It was small too." Nightclaw rolled her eyes. "There's no hope Snakesti-" She was cut off as Snakestipes jumpped on her and pinned her down. "There is ALWAYS HOPE!" he hissed in her face.
"Woah, easy tiger." Scarheart said, stepping inbetween Nightclaw and Snakestripe's claws, ready to strike. Snakestripe jumped off her and continued without looking at the rest of the patrol. Suddenly, there was a thundering of paws, and Scarheart looked up as Graywhisker burst in. "Scarheart! Bad news- your kits are missing!!" Cinderpaw looked up, alarm in his eyes. Scarheart shared the same alarm. "Cinderpaw, Wolfshade, Petalbreeze, you three please track them down." "With please." Cinderpaw said, bounding ahead. "Hey I'm leading this patrol-..." Wolfshade and Petalbreeze trailed off after the young, eager, apprentice. Scarheart looked at Graywhisker. "You can join our patrol in search of Spottedfire.
I sniffed at the gross kittypet food and metallic water as the Twoleg set it in my cage. Delicately pawing the spiderweb-like mesh, I mewled softly. He looked back at me and said something to the other one, who snorted. I daintily lapped at the water so they might think I was a housecat. Again, the other Twolegs snorted and shook his large head. The one with black headfur (hair) looked at me with soft eyes. The one with brown headfur said something loudly and the other glared. I flinched away, feinting a scared look.
"Please, let me go!" Spottedfire mewled, trying to see if they understood. "I have a mate, and a clan to serve!" She yowled, but the Twolegs just turned away. Growling, Spottedfire turned away, suddenly facing a twoleg kit. Her nose quivered as she reached in Spottedfire's cage and petted her ears. (This is a pet store)
I flinched and the Twoleg kit murmured something comfortingly. I forced a purr and licked her hand. She giggled and stroked my soft tail. I licked my paw and ran it over my head, just for show. The Twoleg kit showed its big flat teeth as what I thought to be a smile. She ran up to a big female Twoleg that I knew was her mother- they looked alike. The mother nodded and the little Twoleg ran back to my cage. I mewled happily, fear bubbling up inside me.
"You know what this means don't you?" Snakestripe finally said, looking back at Scarheart. Scarheart held his head up. "I know what your thinking but we should discuss this with Jetstar. He might not want to risk a few cats, just for one," he meowed. 'We must go after Spottedfire! If we don't...... I dont know what would happen to me,' Snakestripe thought. But all he did was nod. Sadness and shock was taking over. Graywhisker fell in step beside him. "Come on let's go get you some sunflower seeds." They walked back to camp and Scarheart went to go to Jetstar, to discuss the matters.
(Poppy seeds..... Lol you guys remember poopy seeds? Haha I had to write that post in ten minutes and then go to volley ball. Btw, the mom was nodding about taking Spottedfire home. The little girl is ten and getting a pet for the first time.)
"Come onnn, why are you 2 so SLOW??" Cinderpaw complained, waiting for Wolfshade and Petalbreeze on the top of a hill. "Why are you so FAST?" Wolfshade countered, flicking her tail and laughing. Cinderpaw held up his tail, silencing her laughter. "I found their scent!" he said, trotting off through the trees. Petalbreeze rolled her eyes, following the excited apprentice with Wolfshade behind her.
"Do you really know what you're doing?" Wolfshade shoved him aside and took in a deep whiff. Cinderpaw was about to shove her back, but Petalbreeze held him back. "I caught RIverkit's scent over here. This way." Wolfshade charged forward and Cinderpaw pouted. HE wanted to save BLossomkit and Riverkit!!
Spottedfire panicked. The Twoleg with the puffy jacket (the owner) was coming towards her, with something shiny dangling (the keys). Then, suddenly, her cage opened and a big paw from the Twoleg reached in to grab her. Hissing, she bit the hand and the Twoleg yelped, retrieving his hand. Taking that opportunity, Spottedfire yowled and jumped out, frantically looking for an escape while screaming was heard through the store.
Cinderpaw sprinted ahead of Wolfshade, sniffing the air as he went. He ignored her protests as he veered right, then left, following their scent. Then there was a sharp squeal as he ran headlong into something. Or as it turned out, someone.
"Cinderpaw!!!" Blossomkit cried, getting to her paws. "Blossomkit!! I found you!! Wheres your brother?" he asked, shaking his head to clear it as he got to his paws.
(I was thinkin that maybe Riverkit got taken by twolegs too, but its up to you, Wavey. :)-
Cinderpaw stared into her scared eyes and asked again, "Where's your brother Blossomkit??" She shook her head as she sputtered. Wolfshade was odviously annoyed. "Well??" she asked. Cinderpaw glared at her, then paied attention to Blossomkit who was clearly trying to talk. "I-I-I-I don't know Cinderpaw!! I thought I saw Spottedfire! Then twolegs and-Oh Cinderpaw!"
-Back at Camp- Tuliptail was worried about her fellow clanmates. They had been gone for a while and she wanted them to bring back their lost clanmates and everything would be ok. Tuliptail decided to go hunting.Tuliptail padded over to her apprentice, Silverpaw. "Silverpaw do you want to hunt with me?" mewed Tuliptail.
Silverpaw nodded to his mentor. "Sure, I haven't trained in a while to this will do me good," he meowed. Tuliptail flicked her tail for him to follow as she walked out of camp and he did.
"I'm not sure." She murmured. "I just heard RIverkit squeal, and then a bunch of scents rushed up my nose." WOlfshade growled. "Leave it to kits to deal with things. Now we've got two captives!"
"Is there anything else you remember, Blossomkit," Cinderpaw asked calmly, "anything at all?" "Well, its starting to come back to me now. Riverkit and I were going for a walk, and these two-legs come up to us with these weird needles. (tranquilizers) I see them stick the needle into Riverkit and he squeals and then goes limp. I didn't know if he was dead, but I couldn't help him so I ran as fast as I could. Then I think I hit my head and next thing I know you guys are here," Blossomkit explained. "We'd better report this to Jetstar. Cinderpaw, take Blossomkit back to camp and get her examined by Starwing. We don't want any serious injuries. Wolfshade and I will report what happened," Petalbreeze instructed. -Sunbeam
-at the medicine den- "Where do you think you hurt, Blossomkit?" Starwing asked her. "Well, my head hurts a lot. And my paw, i think i tripped on a root or something," Blossomkit moaned. "Then take these poppy seeds to reduce the pain in your head and I'll examine your paw," Starwing explained. Blossomkit winced in pain as Starwing gently lifted her paw and checked for any signs of swelling or cuts. "It looks like you cut it on a thorn bush, and its left a gash that has stopped bleeding by now. I'll apply a light layer of cobwebs and come back tomorrow or if the cobwebs fall off. But take it easy for the rest of the day and stay off that leg as best you can," Starwing instructed. Blossomkit thanked her and Cinderpaw helped her back to the nursery, where Riverheart was in hysteria. "Thank Starclan you're here," Riverheart raced toward her kit, almost plummeting her over. She led her to the back of the nursery and wrapped her tail around Blossomkit protectively. "Woah, Mom, I know Riverkit's lost, but we'll find him! Spottedfire's there too, and she'll help him escape, I know she will. But for now, we have to keep living our normal lives. We can't be freaking out 24/7," Blossomkit pushed her away. "BUt I can't lose you too," Riverheart cried, "not right now." "What's that supposed to mean?" Blossomkit snapped. "Well-your father and I-we're worried about your and Riverkit's relationship as siblings," Riverheart told her. -Sunbeam
Blossomkit was about to say something when Riverheart looked away ears up and alert. "Badgers and foxes? Thier come this way, a lot of them," someone meowed. Everyone started to panic when badgers and foxes together roared and growled and started to attack. Riverheart turned to Blossomkit. "Get to the nursery and hide. NOW" She saw Scarheart ripping a badgers throat out with Sunbeam and Brookpaw. Riverheart yowled, "I need someone to guard the nursery." Sunbeam quickly jumpped over the badger to the nursery while Scarheart checked Brookpaw for any bad wounds. She seemed to be okay so he placed his tail on her should and the both carefully jumpped over the badger. But Riverheart watched in slow motion a fox pluck Brookpaw right out of the air and only just missed Scarheart. Scarheart yowled, "Brookpaw!" and dove after the badger that had taken her, followed by some other warriors. There was a shiek, and Brookpaw was gone... "Only if Spottedfire was here, she could've help," Riverheart murmured sadly and she dove into the mass of foxes and badgers. But bodies where starting to litter the clearing. Puddlesplash, Forestsong, she almost cried when she saw Shadowtail's body. But there was a slight up and down motion of her body. Riverheart ran over to it. "Shadowtail..." There was a long gash on her side that was spilling out blood. It was clearly to late. The black she cat looked up with wide eyes. "I'm coming for you Wildkit," she murmured. And she was gone. Just like that. 'Oh StarClan why can't it be my time now instead of hers?' Riverheart thought to herself. Then she heard the yowl of Jetstar. Riverheart scaned the clearing and found him outside of the elders den. Next to Firesong's froozen body and Silversnow, still trying to fight beside him. They both lept, trying to do a team move but the badger took them both out. "JETSTAR NO!!!" Screamed Riverheart fighting the badger away. She felt satisfaction when the badger fell, clearly giving up. But Riverheart didn't stop. She fought with tears in her eyes, she ripped ate its fur until it breathed never again. She crept up to her leaders body, "Jetstar....?"
"He's losing a life," Dawnwing murmured, standing a few feet back. "Not you, not now, just leave him be!" Riverheart shouted. Dawnwing's expression changed to hurt and she darted away. Riverheart immediately regretted her harsh words, but she couldn't run after Dawnwing to apologize now. She had to be with her mate. "Jetstar, are you alright? Please tell me you'll be alright," she sniffled. Jetstar began to cough, obviously still weak. He could barely open his eyes. "Oh, Jetstar, thank starclan you're ok," Riverheart rejoiced. "But my Clan isn't, too many cats died today," Jetstar said blankly, "they died instead of me. That's the hardest part of being a leader, seeing the cats you are in charge of dieing before you're eyes. I couldn't bear it if I lost you too." 'I can't tell him about my dream, especially now,' Riverheart thought. She sighed and just sat with him as the fight came to an end around them. -sunbeam
(Conyinuing the story) (After the battle ended) "We have lost a few cats" Silverhail said sadly looking around the camp- what is left of the camp-and sighed. "I know" Fireblaze said. "We ahve lost Brookpaw, Shadowtail and............" Silverhail started to say. "Silverhail, I really don't want to know who we have lost, it obviously makes me sad" Honeyblaze said. "We should start to repair the camp, right?" Honeyblaze said. The other cats nodded. "What are you waiting for then?" someone cried. With that, the cats started runninf around helping to repair. "It's nice to see our clan work together so well" Riverhaert sighed next to Jetstar. "Yes, especially nice if you are the leader" Jetstar agreed. "Right, sorry about that" Silverhail replied.
Jetstar grunted as he stood up. His muscles ached and his head throbbed with every step or movement he made. "right... I'll be in my den." he muttered, limping into his den, where he flopped down on his side.
Suddenly, there was chaos as a snarling band of rogues poured into camp, attacking anyone that got in their way. Jetstar spun around and hissed. "Attack!!" he yowled as he was leapt on by a dark brown tabby that looked deathly familiar. Jetstar growled and bucked the strange cat off, and instantly leapt onto the cat but was thrown off like he weighed nothing more than that of a leaf. "who are you?!" Jet hissed as he tusseled in a losing battle with the cat.
"aw, you dont remember me? We were best friends, Jet." the dark tom grinned, lashing his claws across Jetstar's chest.
Jetstar's eyes widened as he realized who he was talking to. "Birchfang?! But I thought I killed you in the arena?" Jet panted, his chest pouring out crimson blood.
"No, you cant get rid of me that easy, pal. you killed my body. not my soul. I found this boy diggin out of twoleg junk and decided he looked alot like me. So I took over." Birchfang snarled, a big smirk on his face as he started to relax.
Jetstar growled as he took his chance and lashed his claws across Birchfang's throat, and watched as he died.
Jetstar grimaced and fell to the ground. he convulsed as he lost 1, 2, 3, 4 lives. All in rapid succession. He gasped and coughed as he took a moment and desperately tried to stop the bleeding. He wasnt ready to die. He wasnt ready to leave his life behind. He cried out as a body landed on his. There was a crack as one of his ribs snapped in 2. Time slowed as inside his body, the rib fragments pierced his left lung. He yowled in agony and tried to claw his way out from under the body.
"Riverheart... Riverheart!" Jetstar was close to tears. He needed comfort.
The rogues, seeing that their leader was dead, fled the scene.
Riverheart raced over to her mate, tears filling her eyes. "jetstar..." she murmured, beside him.
"Jetstream. Dont call me Jetstar now. thats not my real name. I dont want to be called that." he said in short bursts. He was gasping for air.
He slumped against her. 1, 2. 2 more lives gone. Each time he lost one his body wracked.
"Someone get Starwing!!" Riverheart cried, tears falling. Foxtrot raced off.
"I-I'm sorry..." Jetstream murmured, his sides heaving with the effort it took to breathe. His chest was still bleeding, and his blood was now on Riverheart's pure white pelt.
"Briarpaw, Cinderpaw, Silverpaw. Come here." he said, again in short bursts.
His children obeyed.
"Briarpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Briarstep. Starclan admires your courage and strength, physically and emotionally. I am sorry I have wronged you, my daughter." he said in a shaky voice and touched noses with his duaghter, who had tears in her eyes.
"Cinderpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Cinderfrost. Starclan admires your braveness, wits, and courage. Do not follow in my pawsteps, my son." he touched noses with his son, who was trying his best not to cry.
"Silverpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Silversky. Starclan honors your courage, gentleness, and kindness. Use it well when the time comes." he said and touched noses with his son.
His body wracked violently as he lost another life. Quickly, and breathlessly, he led his clan in a chant. "Briarstep! Cinderfrost! Silversky!" Jetstream said quietly. He slumped and fell against Riverheart. "Riverheart... I'm sorry that I have wronged you all those times... I'm so sorry..." he mumbled, his eyes growing heavy and limbs growing weak. His head felt like it weighed a ton. "I love you." Jetstream said in her ear before falling to ground and closing his eyes for the last time as he lost his 9th and final life.
"No," Riverheart shook her head. "NO! Why must you torture me StarClan? First Ashstripes, Jayfire, Mudclaw, Wavestar, Spottedfire, and now Jetstream!!?" she yelled at the heavens. "IS IT YOUR WILL TO NEVER MAKE ME HAPPY!?" She sank to her paws. "I have no one now! NO ONE!!!" Brairstep was wailing too. "Daddy come back! I never meant what I said daddy!!" Silversky and Cinderfrost were murmuring to each other, heads bent low. What was left of this broken family??
"Are you-ar you ok R-Riverheart?" Snakestripe went up to Riverheart. "He's gone! Everyone I've ever loved except my children is gone!!!!!!!" Riverheart wailed, burying her face into his fur. "Don't worry, he's in a better place now. He's looking down on you, not wanting you to be sad. He wants to see his mate as a fighter, someone who can push through the bad times, that's how I see you," Snakestripe comforted her. "Thanks, Snakestripe. That really means a lot, more than you know. And right now, a friend is just what I need," Riverheart half-heartedly smiled. -Sunbeam
Snakestripe nodded. "Without Spottedfire.... I do too," he murmured.
Scarheart stared in shock at his leader's broken body. "Your our leader now....." Silverhail meowed behind him. Scarheart looked back and shook his head. "I don't know if I'm ready for this. It should be someone else."
(Utterly confused, depressed, and tired. I can't do this anymore. I hate never being able to come on this page because I'm with the friggin Twolegs and their friggin two-faced, Evil Knievel, mean bean, random wording faces!!! Half of that made no sense, but m on a rant. I'm comin, Carolina!!! (ignore the crazy spasm) I'm not gonna leave you no more, darlin! I'm a new woman! I'm SPOTTEDFIRE, the WEIRDEST black-and-orange dappled she-cat EVER!!! And I am home.)
COOL TRANSITION
Riverkit next to me and my ancestors shinning brightly above me, I was home. We had just crossed over the border and were now in WaveClan territory. But something was wrong. "I smell blood," Riverkit said quietly, unnerved by the tension in the air. The scent of death came to my nose and I flinched. "Jetstar's dead," I said immediately. "Everything's quiet and I smell sorrow. Some cat died and the forest is asleep. He's dead."
Riverheart and Blossomkit. "Riverkit is gone isn't he?" Blossomit meowed looking up at Riverheart. "Don't loose hope. He'll come home and you both are going to be wonderful apprentices. Just like your mother." Riverheart closed her eyes and wondered if this was true.
All of a sudden yowls rang deep in the forest. Blossomkit's eyes lit up, hoping it was her long lost brother. "Blossomkit!" she heard someone call. Almost immediately following, Riverkit burst through the entrance and ran over to Blossomkit. Spottedfire trudged after him, exhausted. "Riverkit!" Blossomkit exclaimed, nuzzling her littermate, as Starwing emerged from her den. "Spottedfire! Riverkit! I'd hate to break up your happy reunion, but I need to examine you both. I don't know where you've been and what you've experienced, so I need to check you both out," Starwing instructed, ushering her mother and a joyful Riverkit into her den. -Sunbeam
Riverheart ran to find Snakestripe to find him picking at a piece of prey. "Snakestripe stop playing with your food and come the the medichine cat den! SPotsy is backk!!!!" They both ran to the den. Scarheart was already there nuzzling Riverkit and Spottedfire was lying worn out in one of the extra nests. "Spottedfire," he breathed.
"Snakestripe, I'm ok," Spottedfire croaked, "I'm just really tired and worn out. The main thing I need right now is rest, but we can talk later." Snakestripe nodded understandingly and spottedfire closed her eyes for what was a long long nap. Meanwhile, Scarheart and Blossompaw were asking if Riverpaw was ok and what he had to go through until finally Starwing ushered everyone out of the den so she could check up on the worn out cats. -Sunbeam
(Im sorry I always get Scarheart and Snakestripe mixed up >.<) "I'm okay I promise," said Riverpaw. "So much has happened since you've been gone. Riverheart is RiverSTAR now," Blossompaw squeaked. "Wow, to thing our mother being deputy," her brother said excitedly. 'Oh I forgot to tell him....' Blossompaw thought with a blank face. 'I need to tell him its the legendary Wavestar that's our mom.....'
-this story will go kind've quick since I'm leaving soon- One night in Waveclan, Foxtrot approached Sunbeam. "Hey, er, can I talk to you? I want to tell you something," Foxtrot asked urgently. "Can it wait? I'm supposed to help Silverhail repair the den," Sunbeam flicked her tail. "Um, no, we need to talk now," Foxtrot agrued. Sunbeam sighed and followed him into the forest. -SUnbeam
(I seriously don't know where this story is going! LOL :P)
"OK, I am officially freaked out!" Silverhail screamed and the bramble she was holding. "Why can't you just stay and cooperate with me to repair the den!?" The bramble didin't reply. (LOL)
"Phew!" Silverhail gasped. "We're finally finished!" "Haha! With the help of your screaming!" Scarheart joked. "Watz up Sunbeam?" Silverhail asked, seeing her friends sad face. Sunbeam didn' answer. Her eyes told Silverhail everything she needed to know. "Hmmmmm" Silverhail said, turning to Foxtrot.
But Lilytail looked disappointed when she started to pad away. "Want to come with me?" Littlefog offered. Lilytail's eyes lit up and she nodded. -Littlefog
Scarheart came over to his fellow warrior. He bent his head. "Everything alright Sunclaw??"
Snakestripe and Swiftfoot both said "Hi," at the same time. Littlefog motioned to Snakestripe, "This is Snakestripe. His mate is Spottedfire and he's from the mountains." Then she pointed to Swiftfoot. "That's Swiftfoot, he's really nice." "Hi," Lilytail said again
Swift foot smiled. "I try to be" he said. "This is Swiftfoot, he is really nice." Swiftfoot said, mimicking Littlefog. Littlefog scowled playfully. Lilytail smiled. Snakestripe looked extremely amused. "Hey, are we going to eat or not?" he asked the group.
Camopaw snuck over the border, wary of patrols. This is so not my type, she thought as she passed the wet territory. Hopefully Bloodpaw wouldn't follow her here.
A growl came from the bushes. "What are you doing on our side of the territory?" Caveclaw stepped out of the shadows with Cinderfrost, Lilytail, and Forestsong. They were all bristling. "Typical HiddenClan," Cinderfrost muttered.
"I'm not HiddenClan,rat face!" Camopaw growledat Cinderfrost. She glanced once again to make sure Bloodpaw wasn't on her trail. "Listen, we need to get to the safety of your camp, my brother might-" "Whoa whoa whoa, hang on there." Forestsong interrupted with a growl. "You trespassed, insulted us, and now you want to come to our CAMP? What's wrong with you?" He unsheathed his claws and said, "I am more than willing to chase your scrawny tail out of here-" "Forestsong, give her a chance! Let's just take her to her camp so she can explain herself." Lilytail interrupted. He muttered something but allowed Lilytail to guide Camopaw to their camp. Riverstar was just entering from the other side as they went in. "What's this?" "Intruder." ~ Camopaw composed herself as she sat inside the leader's den. "And after FlameClan burned we sheltered in HiddenClan. But my brother, Bloodpaw, came and killed four cats there. So I ran away and now I'm here. You need to protect your cats from my brother; no doubt he'll be coming for you guys too."
Riverstar's eyes grew wide but she stayed steady. "Camopaw you are welcome to stay here and I will mentor you for the time being. Maybe we should talk with Hiddenclan to send our most skilled warriors out to track him down. But for now we will double patrols and make sure no one goes out of camp alone," she announced. She looked at Caveclaw and nodded. "Spread the word." As he hurried away her soft gaze went back to Camopaw. "I know this is uncomfortable but do you know any of your brother's weaknesses?"
"I'm ashamed to say, but when we were kits and young apprentices, Me and Malicepaw would beat and taunt him. Then he ran away for several moons, and just made an appearance in HiddenClan, killing a few cats. It's coming back to bite me and Malicepaw." Riverstar nodded, then must've had a realization because she said, "Oh! We have a Gathering to attend to." She left the den. ~ Bloodpaw saw a group of WaveClan cats leave for the Gathering. A pretty gray tabby with vivid green eyes lingered at a flower that peeked through the frost. She sat down awkwardly, leading Bloodpaw to comprehend that something was wrong with her leg, and he also realized she was the medicine cat, otherwise she wouldn't have such an interest in the herb. She went unnoticed by her group who left her, until they were out of sight. Bloodpaw waited.. Then leapt out at her. She screeched and stumbled backwards, gasping when she put too much weight on her bad leg. Bloodpaw lunged for her face and she weakly batted. He grabbed her paws and yanked them out of their sockets with a loud pop. The medicine cat cried outin pain and unable to move, then lied motionless and sobbing on the ground. Bloodpaw grabbed her scruff and dragged her to the WaveClan camp. He entered, and the few cats that were there stopped and stared. "Starwing?" Someone asked. Suddenly a cat rushed forward, but Bloodpaw raised up Starwing. "One move against me and she's killed." Everyone froze. "Your going to do what I say. You-" He indicated an orange she cat with red fur and green eyes. "Tear down the nursery and apprentices den." She stayed where she was. "Will the kits suffer too?" He asked her. Reluctantly, she shoved over the nursery, another cat the apprentice den. There were a couple kits in the nursery; they looked small and helpless. Suddenly the orange she cat and a gray one lunged at him. He snapped down on the medicine cats neck, but they were already in mid lunge, and bowled over him. He snarled, entangled in bodies. The orange one drew backward to gain more momentum in going forward, then dove in. He lurched sideways, his claws jerking through the side of her neck. She blood gurgled from her mouth as she yelped, then fell to the ground. "Spottedfire!" The gray she cat whispered, taken aback. Spottedfire whispered, "Wolfshade..." Then stopped breathing. Wolfshade looked up, and Bloodpaw took her surprise as an opening. He burrowed his fangs into her throat and thrashed her viciously. In a rage he dragged her body to the leader's den and slammed her against the rock(or whatever the den is made of) repeatedly. Her bloody body smeared scarlet all over the rock, and he flung her body away. The rock oozed with crimson fresh blood, and he turned on the rest of camp, eyes glinting wildly. Without a word he stalked out of camp, returning once again to the charred FlameClan forest.
Camopaw felt numb as she walked with the group back to WaveClan, "home" from the Gathering. Bloodpaw, her youngest, weakest brother had killed a few cats from different clans. How could he? She stopped,feeling... off. "What is it, Camopaw?" Asked Riverstar with a hint of sympathy in her voice. "I don't know. I guess that all this craziness is getting to me. I think I smell Bloodpaw, and its probably just Bloodpaw coming back to haunt me." "Really?" Replied Riverstar who stopped in her tracks, paws crunching on the thin layer of ice that covered the ground. The willow trees swayed peacefully in a chilly but refreshing breeze, and the sounds of a gurgling stream calmed her ringing ears. Then Riverstar tensed her ears perked straight up. "No wait- I smell it too." Entirely alert now, She turned sharply and called to the rest of the group, "We smell blood! Get in a defensive position and hurry to camp!" They rushed into the entrance. Camopaw froze in horror when she saw the dens, one by one. The nursery and apprentice den- they were entirely shredded, no way to repair. Three kits huddled together, shivering. Her gaze shifted over to the leader's den and she made a sound of utter shock when she saw a large red stain that could only be one thing- blood. It had started to freeze in the cold, and it made a trail over to a tree where a cat lied motionless in the swaying grass. "Wolfshade," Reedstar breathed. The revolting scent of death hung in the air, looming over the camp like a vulture hovering over a live body. "Their in StarClan now. Wolfshade, Spottedfire, and Starwing." "Starwing?!" Someone cried. "Bloodpaw..." whispered Camopaw.
Lilytail looked at the destroyed dens and then dead cats.Eventualy,she looked over at Riverstar.What are we going to do?She though.
Echoleaf stayed close to her kits,trying her best to sooth them.Feeling a mix of anger,grief and fear,she looked tawards the nursery.Her kits could have been killed!She though,wrapping her tail instictivly around the three shivering kits beside her.
Leafkit looked up at her mother and then around the clearing.It was then that saw Stargaze's motionless body.She raced over to the motionless she-cat,tears streaming down her cheeks. "Leafkit!"Echoleaf called out about to race after her daughter,but she looked back at her other to kits.They were looking up at with wide eyes.I can't leave them.She thought,looking helplessly tawards Leafkit. "Starwing!"Leafkit cried laying down beside the dead she-cat.Her eyes shinning with grief.Now i'll never be able to be a great medecine cat like she was.She thought misrably.
Lilytail looked around the camp in shock and then with grief at the cats lost.She paded over to Riverstar,"Should we prepare them for mourning?"She asked quietly.
Riverstar did all in her power to stay calm. "Have the elders do that. First we must fix the dens. Set up groups of cats to fix each den," she meowed briskly. "And maybe a strong boarder patorl." Lilytail the uneasy look on her face. "You can do it, that's why I choose you as my deputy," she meowed encouragingly. A yowl sounded from somewhere in the crowd. "Spottedfire?!" It was Snakestripe. "No," he moaned. Rushing forward. "What about Starwing? Who will mentor Leafkit?" Echoleaf meowed. Riverstar looked down. "We'll worry about that later."
Lilytail noded,and looked around for a moment before turning tawards the other warriors. "Littlefog were going to need materials to rebuild the dens,I'm putting you in charge of that.Take some others with you and don't go to far.We don't know if Bloodpaw is still hanging around."She meowed gravely. After Littlefog noded,she turned tawards Sunbeam. "Sunbeam,your in charge of clearing what can't be salvaged from the dens.Choose some cats to help you."She meowed.She waited for him to nod before looking over at Silverhail and Fireblaze."Your in charge of rebuilding the nursery and apprentices den."She meowed.She watched them nod in acknowlegdment before continuing "Silversky,Maliceheart,Redpaw,Camopaw and Whitepaw.You will be coming with me on a border patrol.We need to find out whether or not bloodpaw's still around."She meowed.Finaly she turned to the clan's two elders."Snowfrost and Owltalon,can you prepare Starwing,Spottedfire and Wolfshade for mourning and burial?Ask Echoleaf and Bluefire for help if you need it."She meowed to them respectifuly.She looked around and let her gaze rest on each cat for a moment."Also for obvious reasons,i don't want any warrior or apprentice going out alone."She meowed.She looked around and then signaled the cats she'd named for the patrol forward."Well leave now.The sooner the better."She told the patrol members briskly.
Silversky nodded and on the patrol he kept close to her. "Hey congrats being deputy. My mom must really like you if she choose you." He stopped when he realized that sounded mean. "I mean your a great warriorr and a great deputy so far," he studdered.
Lilytail smiled,trying her best to hide how much Silversky's compliment ment to her."Thank-you,but i still have a lot to learn."She mewed her smile suddenly disappearing into a worried frown.What if i'm not a good enought deputy?She thought,still padding forward.
Camopaw said solemnly, "We should probably stay focused. We have no idea when my brother might attack." "His scent leads to FlameClan." Someone said. "But the snow covered up every scent and paw trail.
"It's highly possible," She answered. "With all of their cats scattered, it'd be easy to hide and ambush." The group stopped at the border, and everyone looked at the leader of the team. "Should we cross it?"
Lilytail thought for a moment and then shook her head."We won't fallow his scent,it's to risky.We'd be in ennemey territory and he'd have the upper hand.We'll fallow the border thought,and make sure he isen't just trying to trick us into thinking he's gone into flamingclan territory."She told them.
Camopaw didn't move forward as the rest of them did. "Camopaw?" Asked Silversky. "I'm going in." "No, you're not. You could be killed!" "If it means saving others' lives, then to me its worth it." She turned and stepped foot into FlameClan, everyone staring.
Lilytail frowned and looked at Cameopaw."Cameopaw,getting yourself killed isen't going to help anyone.We can make sure he's realy left just aswell by padding along the border.Making sure he's not in our territory is our first concern right now."She meowed sternly.
A shriek echoed throughtout the forest and Camopaw murmured, "RainClan..." "Come on, Camopaw, this is getting dangerous. If he's close enough for us to hear his victims, then obviously we're to close. We need to get away and defend our camp- we have kits that need to be protected." Lilytail said. "You just want to protect your Clan from him, right?" "Yes. With my life if nessacary." She answered. "Me too. I want to protect MY clan, and they need me now." She slipped into the flameclan forest without another word.
Lilytail sighed but found herself respecting the young she-cat and wondered if they should fallow her.She turned taward Silversky,Whitepaw,Redpaw and Maliceheart."Do you to want to go after her?"She asked them.
Silversky looked over the boarder in thought. "I don't think we should," he meowed. He padded over to Camopaw. "I felt like you did once. And this isn't the answer. Riverstar will send a patrol out and if you ask, she'll let you on it. But there's to many cats that need us home right now," he meowed carefully.
Riverstar looked down at her swollen belly and closed her eyes. "Why would my kits be due around this time. StarClan I wanted them to be a sign thata new generation was forming. Please have mercy on them."
Littlefog and Caveclaw padded up to the new cat. "Welcome to WaveClan!" Caveclaw meowed. "I'm Caveclaw and this is Littlefog." Littlefog waved her tail. "Whats your name?" Littlefog asked kindly.
Jetkit silently snuck off. and went to the pond. He knew his mother loved him.. He just felt... bullied. He hadn't ever talked before but thats because he felt like there was no need too. He thought about Bloodpaw countless times. Being 2 moons... he shouldn't be thinking about this stuff. Yet he did. Would he follow Bloodpaw?
Leafkit watched Jetkit curiously from some bushes,careful not to alert him of her presense.What's he doing over here by himself,and not playing with the others?She thought stumped.The question distracting her from thoughts of Starwing and becoming a warrior.
Jetkit, now four moons went to the same pond he did before. He saw Wildkit practicing a pounce and wanted to try it for himself. He carefully crouched and lifted his white tail off the ground and pounced on a leaf. Proud of himself, he rolled in the leaves breathing out a little laugh.
Dovespirit walked out of the Warrior's Den and sat down, resting her tail on her paws. She wasn't assigned to any patrols at the moment, and she had already eaten.
"Yea.. I've heard he is somewhere in between RainClan and FlameClan.. I heard that he captured a kit.. Flickerkit was he name I think. The leader's daughter." she meowed- sadly.

"I wanted to ask you something.... well I guess not ask you something.... tell you something.... we should go outside of camp," he stammered.

"I think so." Spottedfire said hesitantly. "I mean, I do like you... a lot."
Snakestripe smiled and twined his tail with hers.
"I don't know... but I was thinking about kits? I mean I know you really want to be a warrior and stuff but I was thinking that our kits would be so amazing you know?" He rushed on.
Tuliptail watched as Snakestripe and Spottedfire left camp and smiled.

Suddenly, there was a screech and Snakestripe found himself searching through the woods for Spottedfire. He heard her yowling and he scented claws- and something else.

"Spottedfire!!" He howled.
"Snakestripe!!" He heard distantly.
"Spottedfire!!!" HE howled again, this time pausing to hear the direction of her reply.
But there was no reply. He ran blindly in the forest, and saw the monster rumble away.

"Help! I need help! Spottedfire has been captured by Twolegs!"
"No!" Riverheart breathed. "Twolegs??!!"
ReplyDelete"Twolegs?" Repeated Riverkit, and then he and Blossomkit whimpered.
"Report this to Jetstar now, he'll have to send out a searching party!"
Snakestripe nodded and headed for his den.
ReplyDelete"Stay here," Riverheart told the kits. "I need to find out what is happening." She was really worried for her friend.
When she padded away the kits started planning evily!
Riverkit stood tall now. They both had really grown.
"I will get her back! Come on Blossomkit," he meowed and bounded towards the enterence.
Blossomkit whimpered and held back. "I don't know- I think we should go with Cinderpaw." She said.

Blossomkit followed her brother with hesitation, yet she was eager to go on adventure. As they stepped out in the forest, blazes of scents overwhelmed them.
"I can pick up Spottedfire's scent." Riverkit said, sniffing the ground. Blossomkit was impressed.
Jetstar came out of his den with Snakestripe.

Cinderpaw ran over to the group of cats by the entrance.
"awesome, I get to go on a mission!!" he said excitedly, grinning.
'what the...' he thought when he picked up a slight nursery scent going through the entrance.
He shook off the feeling and followed the others out of camp.

ReplyDeleteRiverheart returned to where he left the kits but they were gone.
"Okay you two come out!" she called.
She inspected for the two to come bounding out of the nursery wailing 'Mommy I'm hungry!', but no one came. There wasn't even a sound.
"Oh no, Wavestar will never forgive me!"
I gently pawed the door of my cage, mewling sweetly like a kittypet. Hopefully the Twolegs would think I was a house cat and let me go. They ignored me, so I set about picking the lock.
ReplyDeleteI dug my claws into the opening and twisted. I stifled a hiss of pain as I tore one of my claws. I would have Starpaw fix it when I got back.... if I got back.
Snakestripe led the partol to were he saw the truck carrying his beloved mate.
ReplyDelete"It went that way," he pointed his tail down the right side of the Thunderpath. "The monster was red with orange stripes. It was small too."
Nightclaw rolled her eyes. "There's no hope Snakesti-"
She was cut off as Snakestipes jumpped on her and pinned her down. "There is ALWAYS HOPE!" he hissed in her face.
"Woah, easy tiger." Scarheart said, stepping inbetween Nightclaw and Snakestripe's claws, ready to strike. Snakestripe jumped off her and continued without looking at the rest of the patrol.
ReplyDeleteSuddenly, there was a thundering of paws, and Scarheart looked up as Graywhisker burst in.
"Scarheart! Bad news- your kits are missing!!"
Cinderpaw looked up, alarm in his eyes.
Scarheart shared the same alarm. "Cinderpaw, Wolfshade, Petalbreeze, you three please track them down."
"With please." Cinderpaw said, bounding ahead.
"Hey I'm leading this patrol-..." Wolfshade and Petalbreeze trailed off after the young, eager, apprentice. Scarheart looked at Graywhisker.
"You can join our patrol in search of Spottedfire.
I sniffed at the gross kittypet food and metallic water as the Twoleg set it in my cage. Delicately pawing the spiderweb-like mesh, I mewled softly. He looked back at me and said something to the other one, who snorted. I daintily lapped at the water so they might think I was a housecat.
ReplyDeleteAgain, the other Twolegs snorted and shook his large head. The one with black headfur (hair) looked at me with soft eyes. The one with brown headfur said something loudly and the other glared. I flinched away, feinting a scared look.
"Please, let me go!" Spottedfire mewled, trying to see if they understood. "I have a mate, and a clan to serve!" She yowled, but the Twolegs just turned away. Growling, Spottedfire turned away, suddenly facing a twoleg kit. Her nose quivered as she reached in Spottedfire's cage and petted her ears.

I flinched and the Twoleg kit murmured something comfortingly. I forced a purr and licked her hand. She giggled and stroked my soft tail. I licked my paw and ran it over my head, just for show. The Twoleg kit showed its big flat teeth as what I thought to be a smile. She ran up to a big female Twoleg that I knew was her mother- they looked alike. The mother nodded and the little Twoleg ran back to my cage. I mewled happily, fear bubbling up inside me.

ReplyDeleteScarheart held his head up. "I know what your thinking but we should discuss this with Jetstar. He might not want to risk a few cats, just for one," he meowed.
'We must go after Spottedfire! If we don't...... I dont know what would happen to me,' Snakestripe thought. But all he did was nod. Sadness and shock was taking over.
Graywhisker fell in step beside him. "Come on let's go get you some sunflower seeds."
They walked back to camp and Scarheart went to go to Jetstar, to discuss the matters.
(Poppy seeds..... Lol you guys remember poopy seeds? Haha I had to write that post in ten minutes and then go to volley ball. Btw, the mom was nodding about taking Spottedfire home. The little girl is ten and getting a pet for the first time.)

Cinderpaw held up his tail, silencing her laughter.
"I found their scent!" he said, trotting off through the trees.
Petalbreeze rolled her eyes, following the excited apprentice with Wolfshade behind her.
"Do you really know what you're doing?" Wolfshade shoved him aside and took in a deep whiff. Cinderpaw was about to shove her back, but Petalbreeze held him back.
ReplyDelete"I caught RIverkit's scent over here. This way." Wolfshade charged forward and Cinderpaw pouted. HE wanted to save BLossomkit and Riverkit!!
Spottedfire panicked. The Twoleg with the puffy jacket (the owner) was coming towards her, with something shiny dangling (the keys). Then, suddenly, her cage opened and a big paw from the Twoleg reached in to grab her. Hissing, she bit the hand and the Twoleg yelped, retrieving his hand. Taking that opportunity, Spottedfire yowled and jumped out, frantically looking for an escape while screaming was heard through the store.
Cinderpaw sprinted ahead of Wolfshade, sniffing the air as he went. He ignored her protests as he veered right, then left, following their scent.
ReplyDeleteThen there was a sharp squeal as he ran headlong into something. Or as it turned out, someone.
"Cinderpaw!!!" Blossomkit cried, getting to her paws.
"Blossomkit!! I found you!! Wheres your brother?" he asked, shaking his head to clear it as he got to his paws.
(I was thinkin that maybe Riverkit got taken by twolegs too, but its up to you, Wavey. :)-

Tuliptail decided to go hunting.Tuliptail padded over to her apprentice, Silverpaw. "Silverpaw do you want to hunt with me?" mewed Tuliptail.

ReplyDelete"Well, its starting to come back to me now. Riverkit and I were going for a walk, and these two-legs come up to us with these weird needles. (tranquilizers) I see them stick the needle into Riverkit and he squeals and then goes limp. I didn't know if he was dead, but I couldn't help him so I ran as fast as I could. Then I think I hit my head and next thing I know you guys are here," Blossomkit explained.
"We'd better report this to Jetstar. Cinderpaw, take Blossomkit back to camp and get her examined by Starwing. We don't want any serious injuries. Wolfshade and I will report what happened," Petalbreeze instructed.

"Well, my head hurts a lot. And my paw, i think i tripped on a root or something," Blossomkit moaned.
"Then take these poppy seeds to reduce the pain in your head and I'll examine your paw," Starwing explained. Blossomkit winced in pain as Starwing gently lifted her paw and checked for any signs of swelling or cuts.
"It looks like you cut it on a thorn bush, and its left a gash that has stopped bleeding by now. I'll apply a light layer of cobwebs and come back tomorrow or if the cobwebs fall off. But take it easy for the rest of the day and stay off that leg as best you can," Starwing instructed. Blossomkit thanked her and Cinderpaw helped her back to the nursery, where Riverheart was in hysteria.
"Thank Starclan you're here," Riverheart raced toward her kit, almost plummeting her over. She led her to the back of the nursery and wrapped her tail around Blossomkit protectively.
"Woah, Mom, I know Riverkit's lost, but we'll find him! Spottedfire's there too, and she'll help him escape, I know she will. But for now, we have to keep living our normal lives. We can't be freaking out 24/7," Blossomkit pushed her away.
"BUt I can't lose you too," Riverheart cried, "not right now."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Blossomkit snapped.
"Well-your father and I-we're worried about your and Riverkit's relationship as siblings," Riverheart told her.

ReplyDelete"Badgers and foxes? Thier come this way, a lot of them," someone meowed.
Everyone started to panic when badgers and foxes together roared and growled and started to attack.
Riverheart turned to Blossomkit. "Get to the nursery and hide. NOW"
She saw Scarheart ripping a badgers throat out with Sunbeam and Brookpaw.
Riverheart yowled, "I need someone to guard the nursery."
Sunbeam quickly jumpped over the badger to the nursery while Scarheart checked Brookpaw for any bad wounds. She seemed to be okay so he placed his tail on her should and the both carefully jumpped over the badger.
But Riverheart watched in slow motion a fox pluck Brookpaw right out of the air and only just missed Scarheart.
Scarheart yowled, "Brookpaw!" and dove after the badger that had taken her, followed by some other warriors.
There was a shiek, and Brookpaw was gone...
"Only if Spottedfire was here, she could've help," Riverheart murmured sadly and she dove into the mass of foxes and badgers.
But bodies where starting to litter the clearing.
Puddlesplash, Forestsong, she almost cried when she saw Shadowtail's body. But there was a slight up and down motion of her body.
Riverheart ran over to it. "Shadowtail..."
There was a long gash on her side that was spilling out blood. It was clearly to late.
The black she cat looked up with wide eyes. "I'm coming for you Wildkit," she murmured.
And she was gone. Just like that.
'Oh StarClan why can't it be my time now instead of hers?' Riverheart thought to herself.
Then she heard the yowl of Jetstar.
Riverheart scaned the clearing and found him outside of the elders den. Next to Firesong's froozen body and Silversnow, still trying to fight beside him.
They both lept, trying to do a team move but the badger took them both out.
"JETSTAR NO!!!" Screamed Riverheart fighting the badger away.
She felt satisfaction when the badger fell, clearly giving up. But Riverheart didn't stop. She fought with tears in her eyes, she ripped ate its fur until it breathed never again.
She crept up to her leaders body, "Jetstar....?"

Delete"He's losing a life," Dawnwing murmured, standing a few feet back.
ReplyDelete"Not you, not now, just leave him be!" Riverheart shouted. Dawnwing's expression changed to hurt and she darted away. Riverheart immediately regretted her harsh words, but she couldn't run after Dawnwing to apologize now. She had to be with her mate.
"Jetstar, are you alright? Please tell me you'll be alright," she sniffled. Jetstar began to cough, obviously still weak. He could barely open his eyes.
"Oh, Jetstar, thank starclan you're ok," Riverheart rejoiced.
"But my Clan isn't, too many cats died today," Jetstar said blankly, "they died instead of me. That's the hardest part of being a leader, seeing the cats you are in charge of dieing before you're eyes. I couldn't bear it if I lost you too."
'I can't tell him about my dream, especially now,' Riverheart thought.
She sighed and just sat with him as the fight came to an end around them.

"I know" Fireblaze said.
"We ahve lost Brookpaw, Shadowtail and............" Silverhail started to say.
"Silverhail, I really don't want to know who we have lost, it obviously makes me sad" Honeyblaze said.
"We should start to repair the camp, right?" Honeyblaze said. The other cats nodded.
"What are you waiting for then?" someone cried. With that, the cats started runninf around helping to repair.
"It's nice to see our clan work together so well" Riverhaert sighed next to Jetstar.
"Yes, especially nice if you are the leader" Jetstar agreed.
"Right, sorry about that" Silverhail replied.

Jetstar grunted as he stood up. His muscles ached and his head throbbed with every step or movement he made.

Outside, every cat was making themselves uesful(ok, maybe not the kits). Cats were running up and down the camp helping to repair.

Suddenly, there was chaos as a snarling band of rogues poured into camp, attacking anyone that got in their way.
Jetstar spun around and hissed.
"Attack!!" he yowled as he was leapt on by a dark brown tabby that looked deathly familiar.
Jetstar growled and bucked the strange cat off, and instantly leapt onto the cat but was thrown off like he weighed nothing more than that of a leaf.
"who are you?!" Jet hissed as he tusseled in a losing battle with the cat.
"aw, you dont remember me? We were best friends, Jet." the dark tom grinned, lashing his claws across Jetstar's chest.
Jetstar's eyes widened as he realized who he was talking to.
"Birchfang?! But I thought I killed you in the arena?" Jet panted, his chest pouring out crimson blood.
"No, you cant get rid of me that easy, pal. you killed my body. not my soul. I found this boy diggin out of twoleg junk and decided he looked alot like me. So I took over." Birchfang snarled, a big smirk on his face as he started to relax.
Jetstar growled as he took his chance and lashed his claws across Birchfang's throat, and watched as he died.
Jetstar grimaced and fell to the ground. he convulsed as he lost 1, 2, 3, 4 lives. All in rapid succession. He gasped and coughed as he took a moment and desperately tried to stop the bleeding. He wasnt ready to die. He wasnt ready to leave his life behind.
He cried out as a body landed on his. There was a crack as one of his ribs snapped in 2. Time slowed as inside his body, the rib fragments pierced his left lung. He yowled in agony and tried to claw his way out from under the body.
"Riverheart... Riverheart!" Jetstar was close to tears. He needed comfort.
The rogues, seeing that their leader was dead, fled the scene.
Riverheart raced over to her mate, tears filling her eyes.
"jetstar..." she murmured, beside him.
"Jetstream. Dont call me Jetstar now. thats not my real name. I dont want to be called that." he said in short bursts. He was gasping for air.
He slumped against her.
1, 2. 2 more lives gone. Each time he lost one his body wracked.
"Someone get Starwing!!" Riverheart cried, tears falling.
Foxtrot raced off.
"I-I'm sorry..." Jetstream murmured, his sides heaving with the effort it took to breathe. His chest was still bleeding, and his blood was now on Riverheart's pure white pelt.
"Briarpaw, Cinderpaw, Silverpaw. Come here." he said, again in short bursts.
His children obeyed.
"Briarpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Briarstep. Starclan admires your courage and strength, physically and emotionally. I am sorry I have wronged you, my daughter." he said in a shaky voice and touched noses with his duaghter, who had tears in her eyes.
"Cinderpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Cinderfrost. Starclan admires your braveness, wits, and courage. Do not follow in my pawsteps, my son." he touched noses with his son, who was trying his best not to cry.
"Silverpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Silversky. Starclan honors your courage, gentleness, and kindness. Use it well when the time comes." he said and touched noses with his son.
His body wracked violently as he lost another life.
Quickly, and breathlessly, he led his clan in a chant.
"Briarstep! Cinderfrost! Silversky!" Jetstream said quietly.
He slumped and fell against Riverheart.
"Riverheart... I'm sorry that I have wronged you all those times... I'm so sorry..." he mumbled, his eyes growing heavy and limbs growing weak. His head felt like it weighed a ton.
"I love you." Jetstream said in her ear before falling to ground and closing his eyes for the last time as he lost his 9th and final life.
LONGEST. FREAKIN. POST. EVAAAH!!! X3 and a really sad one... :'(

Brairstep was wailing too. "Daddy come back! I never meant what I said daddy!!"
Silversky and Cinderfrost were murmuring to each other, heads bent low.

"Don't worry, he's in a better place now. He's looking down on you, not wanting you to be sad. He wants to see his mate as a fighter, someone who can push through the bad times, that's how I see you," Snakestripe comforted her.
"Thanks, Snakestripe. That really means a lot, more than you know. And right now, a friend is just what I need," Riverheart half-heartedly smiled.

Riverkit next to me and my ancestors shinning brightly above me, I was home.
We had just crossed over the border and were now in WaveClan territory. But something was wrong.
"I smell blood," Riverkit said quietly, unnerved by the tension in the air.
The scent of death came to my nose and I flinched.
"Jetstar's dead," I said immediately. "Everything's quiet and I smell sorrow. Some cat died and the forest is asleep. He's dead."
Ooooh stuff is happening.

"Riverkit is gone isn't he?" Blossomit meowed looking up at Riverheart.
"Don't loose hope. He'll come home and you both are going to be wonderful apprentices. Just like your mother." Riverheart closed her eyes and wondered if this was true.
All of a sudden yowls rang deep in the forest. Blossomkit's eyes lit up, hoping it was her long lost brother.
ReplyDelete"Blossomkit!" she heard someone call. Almost immediately following, Riverkit burst through the entrance and ran over to Blossomkit. Spottedfire trudged after him, exhausted.
"Riverkit!" Blossomkit exclaimed, nuzzling her littermate, as Starwing emerged from her den. "Spottedfire! Riverkit! I'd hate to break up your happy reunion, but I need to examine you both. I don't know where you've been and what you've experienced, so I need to check you both out," Starwing instructed, ushering her mother and a joyful Riverkit into her den.

Riverheart ran to find Snakestripe to find him picking at a piece of prey.

They both ran to the den. Scarheart was already there nuzzling Riverkit and Spottedfire was lying worn out in one of the extra nests.
"Spottedfire," he breathed.
"Snakestripe, I'm ok," Spottedfire croaked, "I'm just really tired and worn out. The main thing I need right now is rest, but we can talk later." Snakestripe nodded understandingly and spottedfire closed her eyes for what was a long long nap.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Scarheart and Blossompaw were asking if Riverpaw was ok and what he had to go through until finally Starwing ushered everyone out of the den so she could check up on the worn out cats.

"Um, no, we need to talk now," Foxtrot agrued. Sunbeam sighed and followed him into the forest.

ReplyDeleteA growl came from the bushes. "What are you doing on our side of the territory?" Caveclaw stepped out of the shadows with Cinderfrost, Lilytail, and Forestsong.

Lily tail narrowed her gaze at the trespasser.Waiting for the apprentice to explain herself.
ReplyDelete"I'm not HiddenClan,rat face!" Camopaw growledat Cinderfrost. She glanced once again to make sure Bloodpaw wasn't on her trail.
ReplyDelete"Listen, we need to get to the safety of your camp, my brother might-"
"Whoa whoa whoa, hang on there." Forestsong interrupted with a growl. "You trespassed, insulted us, and now you want to come to our CAMP? What's wrong with you?" He unsheathed his claws and said, "I am more than willing to chase your scrawny tail out of here-"
"Forestsong, give her a chance! Let's just take her to her camp so she can explain herself." Lilytail interrupted. He muttered something but allowed Lilytail to guide Camopaw to their camp. Riverstar was just entering from the other side as they went in.
"What's this?"
"Intruder."

Camopaw composed herself as she sat inside the leader's den.
"And after FlameClan burned we sheltered in HiddenClan. But my brother, Bloodpaw, came and killed four cats there. So I ran away and now I'm here. You need to protect your cats from my brother; no doubt he'll be coming for you guys too."
Riverstar's eyes grew wide but she stayed steady. "Camopaw you are welcome to stay here and I will mentor you for the time being. Maybe we should talk with Hiddenclan to send our most skilled warriors out to track him down. But for now we will double patrols and make sure no one goes out of camp alone," she announced.

As he hurried away her soft gaze went back to Camopaw. "I know this is uncomfortable but do you know any of your brother's weaknesses?"
"I'm ashamed to say, but when we were kits and young apprentices, Me and Malicepaw would beat and taunt him. Then he ran away for several moons, and just made an appearance in HiddenClan, killing a few cats. It's coming back to bite me and Malicepaw."

"Oh! We have a Gathering to attend to." She left the den.

Bloodpaw saw a group of WaveClan cats leave for the Gathering. A pretty gray tabby with vivid green eyes lingered at a flower that peeked through the frost. She sat down awkwardly, leading Bloodpaw to comprehend that something was wrong with her leg, and he also realized she was the medicine cat, otherwise she wouldn't have such an interest in the herb. She went unnoticed by her group who left her, until they were out of sight. Bloodpaw waited.. Then leapt out at her. She screeched and stumbled backwards, gasping when she put too much weight on her bad leg.
Bloodpaw lunged for her face and she weakly batted. He grabbed her paws and yanked them out of their sockets with a loud pop.
The medicine cat cried outin pain and unable to move, then lied motionless and sobbing on the ground.
Bloodpaw grabbed her scruff and dragged her to the WaveClan camp. He entered, and the few cats that were there stopped and stared.
"Starwing?" Someone asked.
Suddenly a cat rushed forward, but Bloodpaw raised up Starwing.
"One move against me and she's killed."
Everyone froze.
"Your going to do what I say. You-" He indicated an orange she cat with red fur and green eyes.
"Tear down the nursery and apprentices den."
She stayed where she was. "Will the kits suffer too?" He asked her.
Reluctantly, she shoved over the nursery, another cat the apprentice den. There were a couple kits in the nursery; they looked small and helpless.
Suddenly the orange she cat and a gray one lunged at him.
He snapped down on the medicine cats neck, but they were already in mid lunge, and bowled over him.
He snarled, entangled in bodies. The orange one drew backward to gain more momentum in going forward, then dove in. He lurched sideways, his claws jerking through the side of her neck. She blood gurgled from her mouth as she yelped, then fell to the ground.
"Spottedfire!" The gray she cat whispered, taken aback. Spottedfire whispered, "Wolfshade..." Then stopped breathing. Wolfshade looked up, and Bloodpaw took her surprise as an opening. He burrowed his fangs into her throat and thrashed her viciously. In a rage he dragged her body to the leader's den and slammed her against the rock(or whatever the den is made of) repeatedly. Her bloody body smeared scarlet all over the rock, and he flung her body away. The rock oozed with crimson fresh blood, and he turned on the rest of camp, eyes glinting wildly. Without a word he stalked out of camp, returning once again to the charred FlameClan forest.
Lightningstar of Stormclan padded up. She growled my. clan. has. been. invaded. by. badgers. we. need. help. Lightningstar colapsed
ReplyDeleteCamopaw felt numb as she walked with the group back to WaveClan, "home" from the Gathering.
ReplyDeleteBloodpaw, her youngest, weakest brother had killed a few cats from different clans. How could he?
She stopped,feeling... off.
"What is it, Camopaw?" Asked Riverstar with a hint of sympathy in her voice.
"I don't know. I guess that all this craziness is getting to me. I think I smell Bloodpaw, and its probably just Bloodpaw coming back to haunt me."
"Really?" Replied Riverstar who stopped in her tracks, paws crunching on the thin layer of ice that covered the ground. The willow trees swayed peacefully in a chilly but refreshing breeze, and the sounds of a gurgling stream calmed her ringing ears.
Then Riverstar tensed her ears perked straight up.
"No wait- I smell it too." Entirely alert now, She turned sharply and called to the rest of the group, "We smell blood! Get in a defensive position and hurry to camp!"
They rushed into the entrance.
Camopaw froze in horror when she saw the dens, one by one. The nursery and apprentice den- they were entirely shredded, no way to repair. Three kits huddled together, shivering. Her gaze shifted over to the leader's den and she made a sound of utter shock when she saw a large red stain that could only be one thing- blood. It had started to freeze in the cold, and it made a trail over to a tree where a cat lied motionless in the swaying grass.
"Wolfshade," Reedstar breathed.
The revolting scent of death hung in the air, looming over the camp like a vulture hovering over a live body.
"Their in StarClan now. Wolfshade, Spottedfire, and Starwing."
"Starwing?!" Someone cried.
"Bloodpaw..." whispered Camopaw.
Lilytail looked at the destroyed dens and then dead cats.Eventualy,she looked over at Riverstar.What are we going to do?She though.
ReplyDeleteEcholeaf stayed close to her kits,trying her best to sooth them.Feeling a mix of anger,grief and fear,she looked tawards the nursery.Her kits could have been killed!She though,wrapping her tail instictivly around the three shivering kits beside her.
Leafkit looked up at her mother and then around the clearing.It was then that saw Stargaze's motionless body.She raced over to the motionless she-cat,tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Leafkit!"Echoleaf called out about to race after her daughter,but she looked back at her other to kits.They were looking up at with wide eyes.I can't leave them.She thought,looking helplessly tawards Leafkit.
"Starwing!"Leafkit cried laying down beside the dead she-cat.Her eyes shinning with grief.Now i'll never be able to be a great medecine cat like she was.She thought misrably.
Lilytail looked around the camp in shock and then with grief at the cats lost.She paded over to Riverstar,"Should we prepare them for mourning?"She asked quietly.
Riverstar did all in her power to stay calm.
ReplyDelete"Have the elders do that. First we must fix the dens. Set up groups of cats to fix each den," she meowed briskly. "And maybe a strong boarder patorl."
Lilytail the uneasy look on her face.
"You can do it, that's why I choose you as my deputy," she meowed encouragingly.
A yowl sounded from somewhere in the crowd. "Spottedfire?!"
It was Snakestripe.
"No," he moaned. Rushing forward.
"What about Starwing? Who will mentor Leafkit?" Echoleaf meowed.
Riverstar looked down. "We'll worry about that later."
"I have just came here and I mourn with all of you.", said Whitepaw and Redpaw togather.

Lilytail noded,and looked around for a moment before turning tawards the other warriors.

After Littlefog noded,she turned tawards Sunbeam.
"Sunbeam,your in charge of clearing what can't be salvaged from the dens.Choose some cats to help you."She meowed.She waited for him to nod before looking over at Silverhail and Fireblaze."Your in charge of rebuilding the nursery and apprentices den."She meowed.She watched them nod in acknowlegdment before continuing
"Silversky,Maliceheart,Redpaw,Camopaw and Whitepaw.You will be coming with me on a border patrol.We need to find out whether or not bloodpaw's still around."She meowed.Finaly she turned to the clan's two elders."Snowfrost and Owltalon,can you prepare Starwing,Spottedfire and Wolfshade for mourning and burial?Ask Echoleaf and Bluefire for help if you need it."She meowed to them respectifuly.She looked around and let her gaze rest on each cat for a moment."Also for obvious reasons,i don't want any warrior or apprentice going out alone."She meowed.She looked around and then signaled the cats she'd named for the patrol forward."Well leave now.The sooner the better."She told the patrol members briskly.
Silversky nodded and on the patrol he kept close to her.
ReplyDelete"Hey congrats being deputy. My mom must really like you if she choose you." He stopped when he realized that sounded mean. "I mean your a great warriorr and a great deputy so far," he studdered.
Lilytail smiled,trying her best to hide how much Silversky's compliment ment to her."Thank-you,but i still have a lot to learn."She mewed her smile suddenly disappearing into a worried frown.What if i'm not a good enought deputy?She thought,still padding forward.

ReplyDelete"His scent leads to FlameClan." Someone said. "But the snow covered up every scent and paw trail.
Lilytail looked tawards Cameopaw."Do you think he'd realy go back to Flameclan?"She asked her.
ReplyDelete"It's highly possible," She answered. "With all of their cats scattered, it'd be easy to hide and ambush."
ReplyDeleteThe group stopped at the border, and everyone looked at the leader of the team.
"Should we cross it?"
Lilytail thought for a moment and then shook her head."We won't fallow his scent,it's to risky.We'd be in ennemey territory and he'd have the upper hand.We'll fallow the border thought,and make sure he isen't just trying to trick us into thinking he's gone into flamingclan territory."She told them.

"No, you're not. You could be killed!"
"If it means saving others' lives, then to me its worth it."
She turned and stepped foot into FlameClan, everyone staring.
Lilytail frowned and looked at Cameopaw."Cameopaw,getting yourself killed isen't going to help anyone.We can make sure he's realy left just aswell by padding along the border.Making sure he's not in our territory is our first concern right now."She meowed sternly.
ReplyDeleteA shriek echoed throughtout the forest and Camopaw murmured, "RainClan..."
ReplyDelete"Come on, Camopaw, this is getting dangerous. If he's close enough for us to hear his victims, then obviously we're to close. We need to get away and defend our camp- we have kits that need to be protected." Lilytail said.
"You just want to protect your Clan from him, right?"
"Yes. With my life if nessacary." She answered.
"Me too. I want to protect MY clan, and they need me now." She slipped into the flameclan forest without another word.
Lilytail sighed but found herself respecting the young she-cat and wondered if they should fallow her.She turned taward Silversky,Whitepaw,Redpaw and Maliceheart."Do you to want to go after her?"She asked them.

ReplyDelete"I don't think we should," he meowed. He padded over to Camopaw. "I felt like you did once. And this isn't the answer. Riverstar will send a patrol out and if you ask, she'll let you on it. But there's to many cats that need us home right now," he meowed carefully.
Riverstar looked down at her swollen belly and closed her eyes. "Why would my kits be due around this time. StarClan I wanted them to be a sign thata new generation was forming. Please have mercy on them."
River, You are having kits????!!!!
DeleteDovepaw padded over to Caveclaw. "Hey Caveclaw! Can we go hunting so I can show you how my skills are coming along?" she asked hopefully.
ReplyDeleteCaveclaw looked down at the apprentice. "Sure why not," he meowed and lead the way out of the camp. "Show me what you got Dovepaw."
ReplyDeleteDovePaw walked back into camp proudly swinging a plump vole in her jaws. She dropped it onto the fresh kill pile.

Littlefog and Caveclaw padded up to the new cat. "Welcome to WaveClan!" Caveclaw meowed. "I'm Caveclaw and this is Littlefog."

Jetkit silently snuck off. and went to the pond.
ReplyDeleteHe knew his mother loved him.. He just felt... bullied. He hadn't ever talked before but thats because he felt like there was no need too.
He thought about Bloodpaw countless times. Being 2 moons... he shouldn't be thinking about this stuff. Yet he did.
Would he follow Bloodpaw?
Leafkit watched Jetkit curiously from some bushes,careful not to alert him of her presense.What's he doing over here by himself,and not playing with the others?She thought stumped.The question distracting her from thoughts of Starwing and becoming a warrior.
ReplyDeleteJetkit, now four moons went to the same pond he did before. He saw Wildkit practicing a pounce and wanted to try it for himself.
ReplyDeleteHe carefully crouched and lifted his white tail off the ground and pounced on a leaf. Proud of himself, he rolled in the leaves breathing out a little laugh.
Dovespirit walked out of the Warrior's Den and sat down, resting her tail on her paws. She wasn't assigned to any patrols at the moment, and she had already eaten.

"Its good to be a warrior," he said puffing his chest out a little. "I wonder where Bloodpaw is.." he trailed off.
ReplyDelete"Yea.. I've heard he is somewhere in between RainClan and FlameClan.. I heard that he captured a kit.. Flickerkit was he name I think. The leader's daughter." she meowed- sadly.
